Select your certification area

There are over 50 different teacher certification areas in the state of Texas. This professional development focuses on the content that you teach, in the area you are certified.

Select CPE hours and courses

Classroom teachers are required to complete 150 CPE hours of training; Principals 200 CPE hours. Select the CPE hours you need and the training topics required by TEA that are of interest to you.

3 Start your training

You have immediate access to the platform and all your CPE training courses online. Set your own learning pace to complete your courses. The program guides you to complete your tasks step-by-step with built-in expert support, and keeps track of your progress so you know where you are. Access is granted for up to 1 year per training course.

Earn a certificate of completion

In this professional development you will be presented with real-classroom challenges to apply knowledge learned. Simulations, role-playing, and practical exercises connect learning to real-life classroom experiences, enhancing retention and relevance. At the end of your training you will receive a certificate of completion.

For each professional development training course, mandatory by TEA for teaching license renewal, there are four required assignments.
